Scott has undertaken a defense oriented career in the area of insurance litigation and is well-versed in all areas of personal injury, insurance coverage and workers’ compensation matters. He has successfully defended a multitude of complex litigations and workers’ compensation claims for various self-insureds and insurance carriers in the State and Federal Courts of New York.

While attending law school, Scott interned for two years in the Office of the New York State Attorney General, Division of Claims, where he assisted in defending tort and medical malpractice lawsuits brought against the State of New York. He began his career as an intern to Hon. Daniel D. Angiolillo in Supreme Court, Westchester County. He continued his legal career serving as counsel in insurance related claims. Today, Scott continues to serve as defense counsel for self-insured companies, third-party administrators and insurance carriers and has brought numerous claims to a successful conclusion; some at the appellate level.

Scott has co-authored an article which was published in New York Law Journal. In his spare time, Scott coach’s high school ice hockey and is a USA Ice Hockey Official.
