Mohamed Mazzy

Mazzy concentrates his trial practice on the defense of all types of negligence, and commercial lawsuits in New New York and New Jersey state and federal courts. Mazzy has extensive experience in prosecuting complex, high exposure actions involving construction accidents, premises liability, product liability and professional negligence claims.  His practice also covers contractual matters, including both dispute resolution and contract review.

A substantial portion of Mazzy’s practice involves the representation of large corporations, owners, contractors, and engineers professionals in construction and premise liabilities disputes.  Mazzy possesses a comprehensive knowledge of New York State Labor Law and the legal consequences for non-compliance.

Mazzy commenced his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney at the King’s County District Attorney’s Office, where he litigated and managed diverse criminal cases from arraignment to final disposition.

Upon leaving the DA’s office, he joined a well-respected firm, where he becomes part of a team in the Complex Tort & General Casualty Division. In his role,  he focuses on defending large and midsize corporations, helping them prevent and mitigate exposure to liability. Mazzy brings a strong background in finance to his legal profession, having previously worked as a Banker with J.P. Morgan Chase & Co., and as a Financial Planner at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management.
