Christopher McIntyre is certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney and a senior partner of Fishman McIntyre Berkley Levine Samansky PC. He has more than 29 years of litigation experience and has tried over 60 cases to verdict in state and federal court. As an accomplished litigator, Christopher has prosecuted and defended a broad spectrum of matters, ranging from simple claims of property damage to complex matters such as wrongful death claims. His reputation as a professional affords him the ability to effectuate favorable settlements, resolve cases early through alternative dispute resolution and/or negotiate caps on damages/high-low agreements in matters that would otherwise present a potential for excess exposure to his clients.

Christopher began his career as an examiner for a nationally recognized insurance company. After receiving his Juris Doctorate, he returned to insurance defense litigation as trial counsel for various insurance carriers. Today, he is the preferred defense counsel for several of the nation’s largest self-insured companies, retailers, mall owners, transportation companies, insurance companies, and third-party administrators.

Christopher focuses his practice in the areas of premises liability, automobile/transportation liability, construction liability and contractor’s liability. He is admitted in The State of New Jersey, United States District Court, District of New Jersey, United States Court of Appeals, Third Circuit and he has argued before the Appellate Courts of New Jersey. As part of his practice, Christopher counsels clients on risk transfer, insurance coverage and contractual indemnification issues. He regularly provides updates on emerging topics of law. Christopher also serves as an arbitrator in uninsured/underinsured motorist claims. He is a member of the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance (CLM) and has been recognized as a New Jersey Super Lawyer for Morris County.
